I am mainly a glass artist working with mostly traditional stained glass techniques to construct images with details added using oxides and then fired. These methods have been practised for hundreds of years, however the designs for my work tend to be mainly contemporary.

My painting and collage work is very varied. I use a variety of media and techniques to produce images based on different themes. As I live in the Peak District, some of these images are an abstract response to the beautiful landscapes and countryside around me. Other paintings are about the representation of female identity and then some images aim to be a response to qualities such as 'hope' or 'joy'. The image of the fiery orange bird is entitled 'Spirit of Creation'.
